Our university's Culture, Art, and Youth Community organized a trip to Isparta on October 31st. Our students had the opportunity to experience the city's history, cultural values, and natural beauty.
The first stop on the tour was the Prof. Dr. Turan Yazgan Ethnography Carpet and Rug Museum, where they learned about Isparta's historical development and cultural heritage. They also experienced carpet weaving in a carpet weaving workshop. They then visited the Aya Baniya (Aya Panaya) Church, restored by the Isparta Municipality and converted into a Fragrance Museum, where they learned about the region's unique essences and scent culture.
The final stop of the tour, Andık Creek, provided a delightful experience immersed in nature. Our students, who thoroughly explored Isparta's historical and cultural fabric and enjoyed their time throughout the trip, left the trip satisfied.
We would like to thank the staff of the Prof. Dr. Turan Yazgan Ethnography Carpet and Rug Museum and the Fragrance Museum, who guided our students throughout the Isparta tour; the University's Department of Health, Culture, and Sports; We would like to thank Instructor Dr. Adile AKTAR and Instructor Seda ACAR who accompanied our students on the trip and finally, all our students who added color to the trip.
