Our school was established in the Gelendost district, which is 81 km away from Isparta, with the decision of the YÖK General Assembly dated 13.01.2000 and numbered 2000.1.6, under the name of "Gelendost Vocational School" in accordance with the article 7/d-2 of the Higher Education Law numbered 2547 as amended by Law numbered 2880. Our school started its activities in 2000 and started its educational activities by accepting students in the 2001-2002 academic year. Our school was affiliated with the newly established Isparta University of Applied Sciences in accordance with the article 7, additional article 194 of the "Law on Amendments to the Higher Education Law and Certain Laws and Decree Laws" numbered 7141, published in the Official Gazette dated 18 May 2018 and numbered 30425. Our Vocational School continues its education and training activities at associate degree level with the Department of Food Processing (Food Technology Program), Department of Pharmacy Services (Pharmacy Services Program), Department of Management and Organization (Human Resources Management Program) and Department of Finance-Banking and Insurance (Finance Program). Our school carries out education and training activities with a total of 14 academic staff (1 Assoc. Prof. Dr., 5 Assistant Professors and 8 Lecturers) who are experts in their fields. It is aimed that the students who graduate from our school will be well-educated individuals in their own branches and will be able to contribute to the national economy. For this purpose, our school adopts a dynamic and innovative education and training approach by considering issues such as quality and student-centered vocational training, cooperation with the business world, and total quality management. Our school students continue their education and training in a 2-storey building with 5898 m² open area and 1350 m² closed area, which was allocated indefinitely from the Treasury Property on 04.02.2008.
