An informational meeting on “Combating Violence Against Women and the KADES Application” was organized for students by the Isparta Provincial Gendarmerie Command.
The event took place on April 14, 2026, at 13:30 and aimed to raise awareness about preventing violence against women. Within the scope of the program, students were informed about types of violence, methods of protection, and official support mechanisms available in such situations.
Officials placed particular emphasis on the Women’s Emergency Support Application (KADES), demonstrating how to download and use the application, as well as how to request assistance quickly in emergency cases. Participants were informed that by enabling location services on their mobile devices, they can contact law enforcement with a single tap.
It was also highlighted that victims of violence are not alone and that state institutions continuously provide support. The event, which received strong interest from students, concluded with a Q&A session.
