The "First Step into the Profession: White Coat Ceremony," organized by the Pharmacy Services Program of Isparta University of Applied Sciences Gelendost Vocational School, was held in the Martyr J. Asb. Üçvş. Atilla Şener Conference Hall.
The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the Turkish National Anthem. The program was attended by external stakeholders, including Pharmacy Technician Nihal Kıyak from Gönül Pharmacy and Pharmacist İlhami Demiryılmaz from İhsan Pharmacy, as well as academic staff from the Pharmacy Services Program: Department Head Dr. Özlem Aras Aşcı, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neslihan Nohut Maşlakcı, and Lecturer Naile Erdem.
The program included discussions on the importance, duties, and responsibilities of the pharmacy technician profession, emphasizing the significance and importance of the students' first step into their professional lives. The ceremony, which contributed to strengthening the students' sense of professional belonging and responsibility, was filled with emotional moments.
During the white coat ceremony, students donned their white coats in the presence of academics and guests, taking their first steps into their professional lives.
