The volleyball tournament organized under the coordination of the Gelendost District Governor’s Office within the scope of the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day events concluded following the final matches.
The tournament, organized by the Gelendost District Directorate of Youth and Sports, was attended by vocational schools from the region. Students from Gelendost, Yalvaç, Sütçüler, and Şarkikaraağaç Vocational Schools of Higher Education competed fiercely in an atmosphere of friendship and sportsmanship.
According to the final standings of the tournament, Şarkikaraağaç Vocational School of Higher Education placed first, Yalvaç Vocational School of Higher Education came second, Gelendost Vocational School of Higher Education ranked third, and Sütçüler Vocational School of Higher Education finished fourth.
The Gelendost District Governor’s Office thanked all students and teams who participated in the tournament and stated that the young people’s interest in sports was pleasing.
