The sectoral meeting titled "Pharmacy Technicianship through the Perspective of a Pharmacy Technician," organized by the Gelendost Vocational School Pharmacy Services Program, took place on November 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Atilla Şener Conference Hall, Martyr J. Junior Vice Chancellor. Nihal Özmen, a Pharmacy Technician at İhsan Pharmacy in Gelendost, Isparta, participated as a speaker.
The program began with a speech by Nihal Özmen, sharing her professional experiences. Throughout the event, discussions focused on the communication skills required of pharmacy technicians, mastery of drug information, professional development paths, employment opportunities in the sector, challenges encountered, and proposed solutions. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights into the field before their vocational training and internships in the company.
The event concluded with a certificate of appreciation presented to Nihal Özmen by Dr. Didem Akpinar Kankaya, Director of Gelendost Vocational School, and flowers presented by the department's faculty members.
