Human Resources Management (HRM)
Human Resources Management encompasses the functions
focused on recruitment, management, and guidance of employees within an
organization. It begins with setting the organization's goals and strategies.
People are considered a resource, not just a result. When the desired outcome
is correctly identified, it becomes much easier to select the right people and
to work as a company towards a common goal.
Human Resources Management consists of all managerial
decisions affecting relationships between the organization and its employees.
For a modern business to ensure the healthy operation of the HRM process, the
HR department must undertake the following:
- Human
Resources Planning
- Recruitment
and Selection
- Human
Resources Development
- Evaluation
and Rewarding
- Industrial
Relations
- Safety
and Health Functions

possess academic knowledge in historical, sociological, legal, and
psychological aspects related to working and employment, interpret these
concepts from a human resources management perspective, and are capable of
performing fundamental HRM functions. The program also aims to develop
students’ ability to analyze social relationships in the work environment and
their societal and individual impacts, conduct research at national and
international levels, and plan human resource policies for both business and

ensure that they are aware of and apply social, academic, and professional
ethical values in their workplaces.
